Prevention Plus Maintenance Agreement

Regular maintenance of your heating and cooling system is important for the safety of everyone in your home. Our Prevention Plus Maintenance Agreement (PPMA) provides you with two annual maintenance visits, which helps prevent serious damage and costly repairs. We conduct an overall inspection of your heating and air system, check your filters, clean your furnace, heat pump or AC unit and make you aware of any additional repairs you system might need.

As a result of our regular maintenance service, your home’s air quality and your heating and cooling system’s performance will significantly improve.

Energy Efficiency Tax Credits

Consumers who purchase and install energy-efficient heating and cooling equipment in existing homes can receive a tax credit for 30% of the cost, up to $1,500, for improvements "placed in service" starting January 1, 2009, through December 31, 2010. Renewable Energy Tax Credit

Homeowners who install solar water heaters, geothermal heat pumps and wind energy systems are eligible for a tax credit of up to 30% of the cost, with no caps. Previously, caps on these types of projects ranged from $2,000 to $4,000. These tax credits are available through 2016, and both labor and materials qualify.
